System Adoption and Change Management

Organizations are continuously identifying and investing millions of dollars in large-scale organizational change initiatives that range from new talent management platforms to enterprise-wide IT system implementations. The desired business value behind these initiatives is often an increase in their competitive advantage and/or growing their top and bottom lines. However, the desired business value assumes adoption and organizational performance change – but effort (both $ and time) is dedicated towards the “technical solution” implementation only – resulting in limited adoption within the organization, sporadic performance change, frustrated employees, and under-performing business results.

SDI’s approach is based on the premise that a return on these investments requires organizational performance change, not just “technical solution” implementation. Our two-phased approach accomplishes this by:
  • Drawing clear line of site between job role performance, how the “technical solution” supports job performance, and desired business results
  • Applying frameworks for change that gain leadership commitment to the change in organizational performance
  • Designing and developing performance solutions that include:
    • Communication strategy that builds awareness and desire for the performance change
    • Job role performance based training that drives the performance requirements
    • Manager training aimed at how to run the business of their team differently
