Terry Dancer is a partner/ principal at SDI Consulting, LLC, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. SDI provides customized performance-based management consulting and corporate learning services.

Terry has over 20 years of performance consulting and instructional systems design experience with a variety of companies and industries. He has designed, developed, and implemented performance solutions and custom training for companies such as Gordon Food Service,  Siemens Dematic, Whirlpool, and Ford, among others.

Terry specializes in performance needs assessment and the design of comprehensive performance solution strategies. Terry has spent the last six years focusing on corporate learning strategy, corporate learning process improvement, and development of performance consulting skills within his client organizations.

Before joining SDI as a partner, Terry was a Consulting Manager with Triad Performance Technologies, and a Performance Consultant for Michigan National Corporation. The early part of Terry’s career was devoted to the design, development, and deployment of highly interactive, web- and computer-based training.

Terry earned a master’s degree in Educational Systems Development from Michigan State University in 1992.
